The PRS Silver Sky John Mayer Signature Model is a vintage inspired model resulting from the collaboration between John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith.
 

It is an idealized version of a 1963/1964 vintage single single-coil guitar. Built with an alder body, maple neck, and a 22-fret rosewood fretboard with small bird inlays
 

Some distinctive features include the inverted PRS Trademark headstock shape, traditional vintage-style closed back tuners with PRS’s locking design, and a neck shape modeled after 1963/1964 vintage instruments.
